Hi,

I would like to clarify a few points regarding IFS Cloud ERP’s Sustainability and Emissions modules:

  1. I know that carbon footprint (Scopes 1, 2, 3) tracking is supported. But does IFS Cloud also support water footprint or soil impact tracking automatically?
For example, when calculating carbon emissions for a product or operation, can IFS Cloud also measure the environmental impact of these emissions on water resources, soil, or ecosystems? Or are these types of data only possible through manual KPI definitions?

  2. Which international sustainability standards (CSRD, GRI, TCFD, CDP, SBTi, SPTI, etc.) are supported for automated reporting in Sustainability Hub or Emissions Tracker?
For which standards does IFS Cloud provide built-in KPI sets, calculations, or report templates? For which ones do users need to define manual KPIs and create their own reports?

In summary:
✔ Does IFS Cloud only track carbon footprint, or does it also automatically calculate other environmental impacts like water footprint?
✔ Can the environmental impacts of emissions (on water, soil, air) be analyzed automatically?
✔ Which sustainability standards are natively supported for automated reporting, and which require manual setup?

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hi,

  1. IFS Cloud currently provides automated KPIs for CSRD and ISSB standards.
However, users also have the flexibility to define their own KPIs and create custom reports to align with other sustainability standards or frameworks as needed.
  2. IFS Cloud Emissions Management is for Organizational Carbon Footprint calculation, and not specifically for performing Life Cycle Analysis of products.  As the users have capability of manually adding or calculating data for an Emission Source against any preferred parameter, users can get the water footprint or soil impact tracking as well. User has to setup Parameters and Formulas required for these to automate the calculations.

Please feel free to reach out if further assistance is needed.
