Is there a place to learn more information on IFS besides the Academy and Help Pages? The Academy seems lacking in basic how to use while the help pages are vague. They don’t show examples or basic tutorials.

Thanks!

do you still have their E-learning? that might help.

What is E-Learning?

@ronhu until IFS APP9, IFS still have E-learning. after APP10, i think all training goes to Academy, which is chargeable.

There are V9 Tips and Tricks videos that used to be hosted by IFS, but since have been removed for the reasons stated.  You can put in a case with IFS, request the zipped version of the videos, but then will have to find a way to host them internally.  We put them on a sharepoint site.

@ShawnBerk very interested in the videos you mentioned. thank you for sharing.

I got the videos. They were from IFS 8 and only navigation. One of them was “How to use the scroll” part in IFS. It sounds like the company didn’t create any learning materials for IFS 10 on purpose to make it so end users have to go to 3rd party companies and pay them for whatever material they may or may not have. Some responses say every company is different but I am pretty sure it’s the same base modules at least.

Yes, I believe they were V8 based and no I haven’t seen the equivalent for V9 and V10 created, but they are close enough to be useful.
