I have a part showing in transit and I do not know where to clear it from.

  • I believe I know what Inventory location is stuck at (shows in transit in that location)
  • I do not have any transport tasks for that part
  • I don’t move the part inter-site. So I don’t show anything to receive from transit.

If you query for the part in Inventory Transaction History for all transactions in date order you may see some clues either side of?

Has someone done a manual ‘Move Inventory Part’ and put into transit in error?

Which view are you seeing it in that you know it’s ‘In Transit’?  Are there any clues in Inventory Transaction History for the part/site to show latest transactions?

I see it in Inventory Availability Planning and when I look at the locations it shows in transit in one location that shows 0 on hand.

I have a transaction code INVM-TRISS which is the only one of its kind that I see in the transactions history and it matches the date range of the receipt date to the location, but I don’t see where that was initiated

Is it a part that is inter-site/company handled?  We have had some examples of parts stuck in transit for those in the past.

Thank you!! that helped!

After I saw your response I went to Receive from Transit and was able to get it there, and then counted it out.
