Hi,

How can we clear in Transit Quantity in the Inventory Value Per Period screen?

I cannot see any inventory stuck in the Inventory Part in Internal Order Transit or Inventory Part in Stock window.

Thank you in advance.

Don’t you see any records in the ‘Receive from Transit’ screen either?

Hi @Harsha Siriwardhana

No, I cannot see any record there as well.

Thank you.

Hi @Kavinda_Jay ,

If there are really no records in transit in application but values are available in Inventory Value per Period, check that all inventory transactions have been aggregated up to today.

If this is done, then better to open a support case, so this can be investigated.

Regards,

Pilar

Hi @Kavinda_Jay, The final solution I am considering is to remove the record from the Inventory Value Per Period via a data repair and then regenerate the aggregation.

@Kavinda_Jay after checking the inputs given in above comments, spend some time investigating the inventory transactions history to confirm if there are really qtys in a transit or the value in the Inventory value per period is incorrect. Inventory transactions history is your source of truth on these aggregated values. Also go back to previous periods to understand how the values are changed (at least for a given part) over the period with reference to the transactions history. Maybe you will find a previous period where the issue has first started. Issue - mismatch between transactions history manual aggregation and system aggregation (values in Inventory value per period window). If there is an issue, as Harsha suggested you might need to do some data repair in that earliest period and run aggregation again. For this a ticket to Support maybe a good idea, given there are no impacts from customizations.

Also - I see you are using APP10. Is there any use of Transport Orders in this solution coming from Oil and Gas extension? Loading and executing a TO would also get qty to transit. You should also check the values in Inventory Parts Avail Planning. There is a transit qty in the header.
