Error trying to cancel Purchase Order lines

Anybody have any idea what this error means and how to fix it?  I am trying to cancel two PO lines that are obsolete.  When I try to cancel, we get this error.  Initiated from a Work Task Material Requisition.  Work task is in work done status.

Hi @TTRACY ,

What is the IFSCLOUD version you are using?

Have you deleted the planning line under the work task after creating the PO ? Can you mention exact steps followed?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Nethmini

Pawel:

I have not seen this error is a while and cannot completely remember what caused it.

It was one of these solutions.  Sorry I cannot give a better answer

  1. It was fixed after updating to 22R2 SU8.
  2. It was fixed by IFS support.
  3. We ended up having to do the receiving on it and then adjusting the costs on the work order.

If I find more details later, I will share.  I think what we learned was if the work order material lines are not cancelled properly in a specific order, it throws off the sequence (the sequence numbers can cause all sorts of problems...we had other issues with inventory locations also).  I think this was fixed after SU8.
