Hi everyone, I need to create a permission set filted based on a LOV custom field and apply to a certain permission set.

But it’s not working,. The filter works just using core fields. Could someone help please?

Tks a lot for help.

I need to filter in mobile.

Hi,

Few questions...

(1) Do you get error when sync data after applying this PS?

(2) Can you try to add a core filed in the same PS filter and see the impact.

Regards

Kapila

Hi @kathlk , No erros.

I’ve tried in the same JtaskStep using cancel cause and does not work either.

But it worked in Equipment view, for example:

Also fault class works well.

Tks.

Hi, if you are in a lower update than 11 I think there was a FW bug with ps filters not applying for complex/structure, permission sets. Try with a simple ps if possible.

Did you clear the security cache after setup? Could be a cache issue?

Yes I did. also the others cache.

I’m still trying to find out why is not working.

Can you take sync traces and attaché to this? You can enable Device Sync trace from install device app. Then need to initialize the device and take the log from the Synchronization traces screen.

You mean this one?

If yes, follow the details.

Yes exactly, Need Trace Type “Init” log file. You can re init the device to take it.

Hi @kathlk , Fount it. Follow the attach.

Great, I cannot see any PS filters applied for JtTaskStep. Could you please update the PS filter to filter by a custom Filed and also a core field (Where we know it’s works) and do the same test again?  Also please add a filter to another entity where we know it’s working. Then we can compare and trace what’s going on in this JtTaskStep.

Also please increase the Device Trace Level (Add additional options available)

Hi,

I cannot see any of PS filtered being applied. This might be an issue in the Security Cache. If this is a DEV or TEST environment we can verify it by do a MWS restart.

Hi @kathlk , strange becuase the others fielters are working well.

Just the custom field is not.

Going to ask the DB adm to restart MWS and try again.

I let you know.

TKs for attention and help!
