Mobile login is suddenly stopped working and getting A116: Invalid User Name/Password pair. Please try again. Any idea why?.

The issue likely that the mobile service user account connecting to FSM Server has likely expired or password has changed.

A number of different errors can cause the A116 error on mobile. As Dilan said, in particular check the expiration date for the METRIX message user as well as the individual mobile user. If this does not fix the issue, check the mobile and server logs for other error messages.
