Hi All,

Does anyone know what the cause of this error may be?

Our mobile devices are initializing as the should and are passing information back to IFS but push messages out to the mobile devices are failing with this message.

UTL_HTTP_DOWN: Error when trying to communicate with the application server. This is likely due to one of the following reasons.
         1) Network problems.
         2) The application server being offline.
         3) PL/SQL Access Provider connection string (http://pd-ifs9-appa.ports:56080/fndext/soapgateway) is incorrect

Thanks Mark

Could be as simple as the URL being wrong - have you entered https?

Could be because PLSQL AP is not correctly configured. Please check the state of PLSQL AP from IFS monitoring screen.

I have checked the URL and it is correct.

Thank you for your input

I have checked the monitoring and the PL/SQL is showing as red. How do we go about investigating / repairing the issue.

Did you replace the database? Normally this is the root cause to PLSQL AP goes invalid. Proper fix is to re configure the IFS Applications. Then installer update correct values. You can check the current value in the table plsqlap_environment_tab.
