Can somebody tell me how I can enable this tick box for this app? It is read-only, even when logged into IFS as Admin. I am using Enterprise Edition Apps 10.

Thank you.

I can only respond for IFS Cloud, but hopefully it’s the same in Apps10. The flag does not relate to the user/device, it indicates what’s set on the application parameter. Try changing it here:

Then initialize MWO and see if the flag changes.

The equivalent screen in APPS 10 has that flag enabled but on the Mobile User Details screen it is still unticked. It is ticked for other users though.

Hi,

The 'Push Enabled' parameter cannot be modified via the admin screen. This flag shows whether the device is registered with the Device OS level Push platform service and ready to receive messages from the IFS backend. If it is disabled, it means either push notifications are turned off at the OS level on the device, or the app's push notification parameters are incorrect, causing the registration to fail.

This functionality  is same for IFS cloud and Apps10.

here is the App10 troubleshooting guide:

Did you check the MWO app permissions on the device?

Yes it has the correct permissions.

I don't think the “push enabled” tick box is ticked or unticked depending on whether the device has push notifications enabled on it’s OS (Android in my case). Because I use the same device with our APPS 10 PROD TAS server url and it works. The  “push enabled” tick box is ticked on the APPS 10 PROD User Details screen. It is unticked on the APPS 10 DEV User Details screen.

The error I get on the MWO when using the APPS 10 DEV TAS server url is this:

Actually correction; someone else is getting the same error and that user has the “push enabled” tick box ticked for the MWO app but it is set to “Disabled” (see below). So “push enabled” is not the cause of the issue.

The cause of the push not working on the device is this (see pic below).

I tried the solution mentioned on this link;

but it didn’t work.
