When we save a business reporter generated file to a shared location it initially runs fine then users begin to get to see a message that looks like this: “The process cannot access the file:’Z:\Test Reports\business_reporter_example.xlsx’ bause it is being used by another process.” We have checked the file is not open and ensured the locations used are listed in the Trust center locations. Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or have fix?
Our company does creates manual shop orders for the pre-assembly of equipment based on forecasted need. Business opportunities and sales quotes are used to anticipate future need. My question is, is there a way to peg a shop order to a business opportunity or sales quote for pre-assembly purposes, since there is no customer order created yet.

Hello, In a workflow projection (now called API) task, we have the below action options.Create (HTTP POST) Read (HTTP GET) Update (HTTP PATCH) Delete (HTTP DELETE) Call (API Methods)This is great for most use cases, but PATCH is not the only HTTP method for updating resources via web requests. In my particular case, I need to send a PUT request to one of the IFS APIs to update certain data. Is there a way to invoke the PUT method through a projection task? I know I can setup a service user, obtain a bearer token, and run a REST call, but I would rather not have all that additional overhead. Any and all advice would be appreciated. Thank you,Dylan

Is there a process to get the system populated with example, demo, or dummy data?We are new to IFS Cloud, and will be starting our implementation process with our partner soon. However, we would like to be able to see what a basic setup would look like.Our prior ERP system had an example database which had the minimal setup with some dummy transactions. This was helpful in exploring functionality not implemented and was helpful to the development process.

We saw a few posts that were old and not really detailed. Do you have anything written up we could look at? Russell is scoping what they think their use case and will add more specific information but I’m sure we must have something written up for using it to pull in asset ids and spare parts. In our remote deployment, airgapped, we have been using jfrog artifictory.For different reasons we want to change to other artifactory and are trying a setup with Harbor.However, it doesn’t seem like the scripts provided can handle Harbor.Looking for input around this. Anyone that are using Harbor or other artifactory than jfrog?Guidelines for how to proceed.Have not found anything in the IFS documentation about supported artifactories.Currently we are running version 23.2.4
Hello to the community I have a question regarding time registration bookings; i have project transactions which have valid postings and are approved (time bookings done from 01/04 to 05/04) I then run the “transfer cost accounting” task today but get the following error message : I am wondering if the dates are an issue here, can i run the action in the current month or do you have any other clue on the possible reasons for that ? We got a DEV/TEST environment in IFS cloud for testing before we move our PROD to the cloud (remote deployment) and there are two features in our current Apps10 setup that seems not working in IFS cloud.1) We have several service accounts in Apps 10 that we use for integrations, and there are couple of instances that these accounts are used to access the IFS DB directly. Does IFS cloud provide a way for these accounts to access the DB directly?2) At the moment we have users in AD Groups and user are assigned to permission Sets are are synced with these AD Groups. (Active Directory user Integration Config in Apps10) Is there an option in IFS cloud to set this up the same way? If not is there an alternative?
Hi,I have created a report using instant_invoice_rep view with archive view but I need some fields from invoice view. I have added the invoice view and linked it from the instant_invoice_rep view to the invoice view using company and invoice_id and it works on my crystal developper part but when I call it from ifs it doesn’t work : the report is empty (i have added grant select to ifsprint on invoice view but the report is still empty...could you help me ?
Has anyone encountered issues in Apps9 where a Customer Order Invoice errors with the below message? The setup is a bit complex - multi site in the same company, multiple places of supply therefore multiple tax situations for the customer, but this error only occurred when I created a CO and applied “Additional Discount” in the CO header. I processed another CO on exactly the same site/customer/parts/tax scenario with discount on the CO lines, and the invoice processed without error. “CO Invoice in Error - "Only a Tax Code with Zero percentage is allowed when Customer is exempted for Taxes..." Any thoughts/suggestions/solutions gratefully received! ThanksLinda

Hello, I am wondering if there is a way to edit / create correction transactions for project transactions which have already been transferred and for which the period is closed? Ex, Being in April, I would like to edit time registration from March for some employees without opening march period again, is that possible to edit and have a voucher to reflect change in April but which would still update project balance through this change? I have a scenario like below and need to recreate in build place.Common costs are reported as follows.Rent 100,000Wages 250,000# of calls for Cost/profit center 1 = 200# of calls for Cost/profit center 2 = 350I need to allocate (pro-rate) above rent and wages for each cost center based on number of calls .I used the Periodical allocation guideline but could not recreate . Hello everyone,I can’t find decent information about syntaxes to create visible condition in ifs report designer.My goal right now is to hide a field (charge_amount) when the value is negative (starting with ‘-’).There is also a second condition for this same field, which is core from ifs ivc reporttns:CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP/tns:INVOICE_TYPE = 'CUSTORDCRE'.My question is how do I do this ? Hi,My customer has a problem with CAMT054 files in Mixed Payment, after upgrade from IFS10 UPD6 to UPD15. Previously, when the transactions from "External Payments" (CAMT054 file) was loaded into a "Mixed Payment", transactions of the type "Acknowledge Supplier Payment Order", were grouped into one row (more or less) in "Mixed Payment"/ tab Transactions .The detailed information could then be viewed in tab "Matching Transactions" in the lower part of the window.UPD6:Now, after the upgrade to UPD15, one row for each transaction is created in the upper part of tab "Transactions" in "Mixed Payment", instead of a lump sum:This is a big problem for my customer when handling the payments, since there are now a large amount of rows to handle.Has someone else experienced the same problem? Any ideas of what changes in IFS10 UPD7 or later, that can explain why this functionality behaves differently after upgrading?Best regards,Karin
