Invoice Type Resources Used and How to Invoice

Hi all, I have a service contract with a service line with the invoice type resources used and with a cap of 5000. I then create a WO and connect the service contract and line to the WO. In the invoice I report personnel, material and expenses. When I invoice to the customer invoice all of this costs appear their. I can’t understand what are the costs that are considered being the resources. Can anynone help?

Aurena Agent Error in IFS Cloud 23R2

We have users who are unable to print documents from attachments. This is the error that is populating. I have made sure that the the Aurena Agent msi has been installed, the Google Chrome extension is installed, and also made the sure users default app for .pdf is Google Chrome. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the MSI download and have had no luck in getting this to work. Has anyone else experienced this issue or been able to solve it?

How to make a field clickable/redirectable?

Hello,In most pages, Main Representative is set us such that the text is blue, and if one clicks on it, it opens a new page with info of that person:I would like to do the same for Parent Company:I can’t figure out how it is done normally, for example with all those fields, where one can hold Ctrl + click to navigate to that page. Does anyone have any tips? 😊

Accounts for automatic matching - Custom attribut

We are working in France under the French financial system.Certain accounts cannot be automatically matched in IFS.Manual matching is done via the 'Account Matching' screen.Automatic matching is possible but only for certain accounts via the 'Accounts for Automatic Matching' screen. For automatic matching, IFS asks us for an Automatic matching attribute. In our case, the attribute is a custom field.How can we allow automatic matching with a custom field? is it possible? Update project deliverable after updating PDM structure (Growing BOM)

I’ve got the following scenario:I created a first version of a BOM in EPDM and imported this via Cadlink in IFS. Result Engineering parts (and structure) are created.I selected the parent part of the BOM to a project deliverable and selected the option copy PDM structure all levels. Result the components of the structure are created as Project Deliverable components. So far so good.Than the BOM in EPDM is updated (new revisions of components or new components added), via Calink the changes are added to IFS and added to the engineering “structure”.Now i want to update my project deliverable to with the changes made to the parent part and underlaying parts, but with the option Copy PDM structure all levels , the full list of components is added again so of lot of components are double in the project structure.Any ideas?Kind regards,Vincent Heijmer

Updating Standard Cost on a Shop Order with status "Started"

Hello Community, Is there a way to update the standard cost on a shop order that has a status of “started” without closing the shop order? Scenario:Open and release shop order The standard cost is wrong so the routings or product structure gets corrected Costs are rolled to update standard cost At this point the “Started” shop order shows the PREVIOUS standard cost If I close the shop order the standard cost updates, but if I reopen the shop order the standard cost goes back again

Automatic page rebase

@IFS Community @IFS Elite Solution Experts @IFS RD Product Management Do you plan in IFS Cloud (next release version) to automate the page rebase? It totally sucks that every time it is necessary to compare Custom atribute vs what was added in standard manually.The same issue occures not only on partner side (doing it for cusotmer) but also on customer side.It is really nice that on presales PPT there is a info that customer can create custom atribute himself but in IFS cloud it is terrible when you take into account Release Update (RU) or Service Update (SU).Hope there will be any uselful response not that we will look into it and after year there will be dozens of comments and no asnwer.Thank youRegardsNicole Valentine

Difference of Project Demand part and PMRP part

Hi Team,I have created a customer order with a line for inventory part. Then I created a Project from customer order and created a activity in the project and released it too.Then connected the activity to customer order line and ran PMRP. This creates a Project supply request and when I receive the PO, I do have a part to reserve to customer order line. Here there is no option to issue the part to Project. What is the reason for this ? Is this beacuse it was directly created without Project demand ? Now, If I create a Project demand for same part, create PR and then PO from that demand and receive the stock to business, It get reserve to Project demand line and I could issue it. Yet this part will not be available to resevrve to customer order line. what is the reason for this ? is there a reason to make this avilable for Customer order line reservation ?

Is it possible to execute a different workflow inside a workflow?

Hi All, We have a requirement of creating dozens of workflows which need to send data to a single API endpoint.This would need hardcoding the authentication details, endpoint URL in each of the workflows.It would be much easier if we were to write one workflow for sending data to the API and call that from the other workflows. Weighted average in inter-site flow

Hi, Here a case regarding "weighted average" for parts in inter-site flow.We have weighted average + cost per part Inventory Part in inter-site flow.Source Site unit cost = 12.Destination Site unit cost = 10.When we ship units from source site to destination site, SHIPTRAN + INTORDTR transactions are created and immediately weighted average in destination site goes 11. Even though, the goods will be in transport for about 7 days. During those 7 days this part stored in destination site is sold/issued with the cost 11, what affects margin rates etc. So the moment of recalculation of weighted average (moment of shipment instead moment of arrival) is quite questionable.Is this intentional behavior? Or maybe some parameter exists? Regards, Lukasz

Aurena Lobby Null Parameter

Is it possible to view a lobby element in Aurena with the default parameters null?I have created a lobby that opens with a parameter populated by default as the majority of the business needs to see the data with this particular filter. However, there is one user who would like to view the lobby with no filters applied. The SQL conditions on the data source designer for the effected lobby elements are built so that a null value in the parameter would return the unfiltered data. In EE for IFS 10 and in Aurena, when I manually delete the default parameter value, it auto-populates when I hit return. I don’t seem to be able to delete the default value and leave it null. Is this possible, or do I need to redesign the SQL conditions so that the unfiltered data comes through when I change the parameter value to some other text?

In 24.1 DISTINCT no longer working in column definition of datasources

Hello all,We recently upgraded from 22.2.14 to 24.1.2.Our lobby datasources no longer work with a ‘DISTINCT’ in the column definition. They worked fine in 22R2. I tried adding a DISTINCT to a simple standard IFS datasource and it also did not work. All of the Queries seem to work fine in SQLDevelopper.Is DISTINCT no longer supported in datasource column definitions, or does it have to be implemented in a certain way? If so, what is the good implimentation method?Error message: Could not preview element. Make sure datasource is configured correctly and view is existing.Sample attached, but it could be any datasource.

Shop Order Reserve Limit

Is there a limit to the number of Shop Orders that can be Reserved in one hit? Seems to be 120? Is there any recommended alternative approach where we have more than 120 to reserve in one go? Thanks

Changing the Inventory Part Number on the Sales Part

We have instances where we need to change the inventory part number on a sales part after it has been saved and transactions are done. We cannot issue new sales part numbers every time we have new inventory parts because we have “printed” literature that shows our sales parts. So, we need the same sales part ID to remain, but connected to a different inventory part.In IFS applications 7, it was possible to change the Inventory part that was connected to a sales part in the “Sales Part” windowIn later versions, this possibility has been restricted, and the system was designed to maintain a one-to-many relationship between inventory parts and sales parts.Can you please specify the reason why this functionality was disabled after apps7? Can you suggest a workaround we can use in the above situation, instead of creating a new sales part?

Why build place must (or should?) not contain customer production data?Is it because of the data protection laws of the various countries? Status of TR unchanged after Approval Routing

Good day. Due to multiple approval levels on TR’s at our Customer, we are using a combination of the Travel Request Configuration and Approval Routings. If first level Approval has been done based on the TR Configuration setup, but TR is Rejected on 2nd or 3rd level approval step via the Approval Routing, the status of the TR remains “Approved” (based on 1st level approval that was done). Any suggestions in this regard?Thank you.Anya
