Some users are receiving an error message “The File Type is not available” when trying to use a certain file type in External File Assistant. I have confirmed that changing to a different permission set resolves this issue, but I have not been able to pinpoint what needs to be granted in the orignial permission set.How can I determine what projection or other grant needs to be added to the permission set to resolve the issue? We are currently running IEE on Apps10. Recently an account rep for Java reached out to us to ensure we are compliant with Java’s new licensing requirements. I found a document from late 2018 explaining the change and that using Java to run the MWS would still be in compliance (see attached). I’ve honestly never put any thought into it. When researching the version of Java we have on the MWS, I found that it appears IFS uses two different Java executables (with different versions). One in the path \{instance}\java\jre\bin and the other being \{instance}\mw_home\java\bin. It is a Windows Server and both instances are running in the task manager.It seems as if we are in compliance with one of these Java instances, but the other might require a paid license. It’s possible this server has had Java updated unintentionally, so maybe that’s the reason for this? The quote was rejected in the system by the administrator by accident. When I try to recreate the quote from the work order, none of the lines are appearing on the quote. This leads to my question; can you create a new quotation from a previously rejected quote?
Hello, is there any way to always bypass the stop-event? Because I would need one form (namely PurchasePartSupplManuf in PurchasePartSupplier) to be completely locked for changes via stop-event. But in order to be able that when I make a change in PartManufacturer in Part_Catalog, it automatically takes me to PurchasePartSupplManuf and ignores the stop-event to PurchasePartSupplManuf. I know I can set exceptions, through #USER_ID# but it is not good for this. When we create Person in IFS Cloud Person>Communication Method is populated with email ID of that person. Now I have to update PERSON_INFO_COMM_METHOD2 view with information like Name, Description and validity. When i am updating it via DMM it is inserting a new record instead of updating it. I have also tried change source to ACC but then i am encountering error: -Method NEW failed : ORA-20110: CommMethod.METHODEX: Communication method E_MAIL with this value already exists for this name and address ID.I have also tried same with migration Job and used rule INSUPD and defined rule as update and then it is updating.I have also attached the Legacy File I tried to migrate.Any ideas on how to do it via DMM?
Hi All,We are receiveing the below error when pulling Service Quotation API. It gets to Quote D193 Rev 1 and then this error appears"<ERROR> {"error": {"code":"ODP_SERIALIZATION_ERROR", "message":"Error while serializing contents." } }</ERROR> If we call just Quote D193 we do not get the error. We have checked the Quote in IEE and it is no different to the previous Quote in the API Call as far as Data goes.How can we debug this? When in Aurena, is there a way to not lose the NOTES saved on a closed opportunity once you reopen it? Another related issue is losing the actual Closed Date field. Re-opening a closed won opportunity removes the Closed Date also, which makes sense as it gets updated with the date the opportunity gets closed again, but is there any way to not lose the initial closure date?

There are 4 screens they consider as,Lobby menuSchedule boardPerson list and Devices (Person table).They need to track the time users actively use these screens weekly basis. Hello,I am wondering if anyone has streamlined the manual entry of supplier invoices (non-PO) using an import function to reduce the time spent entering multiple supplier invoices individually? For reference on what it is I am trying to do, we use an external software for employee expenses, some are reimbursable so would be paid out to them, that are “coded” to an account, department, and (optional) type. Once we have determined where the expense(s) need to be coded, they are then manually entered into IFS individually. I am wondering if it is possible to dump a spreadsheet with the supplier ID, coding, and amount to speed up the process?*Do note there are oftentimes multiple lines per one invoice and also there are subscriptions that would need to be period allocated.Thank you for any and all advice and help!

When using the 23R2 Dispatch Console for manual resource assignment for a customer who does not use PSO and has 4000 resources, is it advisable to use multiple datasets? What advantage would the use of multiple datasets bring without PSO? Is there is a concern that so many resources under one dataset would cause performance issues in the Dispatch Console even without using PSO? Couldn’t filters on Resource Group and Region sufficiently limit the number or resources hitting the Dispatch Console even with all 4000 resources in one dataset?
When a Purchasing Agent is attempting to confirm with differences (without a PO Change Order), they are experiencing the below error message when attempting to confirm a Promised Date change. I have recreated this error message in a non Production environment. The PO is in Released status and has been authorized by the appropriate Authroizer. I certainly would understand if “Confirm with differences” impacted the value of the PO that this error message would appear, but don’t understand why a change in date will cause this to occur. I have done some searching on the Site and Company settings and don’t see settings that would allow Confirming differences at a granular level. We are currently utilizing Cloud 22R2If there is a setting that I’m missing, any guidance provided would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
