Tips for Easing IFS Cloud Adoption as a New Member

Hi everyone,

I’m currently getting up to speed with IFS Cloud and trying to understand the best approach for initial setup, user onboarding, and locating key documentation inside the platform.

I’ve already signed up and can see parts of the environment, but I’m a bit unclear on where to start with roles, permissions, and self help resources versus IFS support channels.

Also, Luca Rubino was mentioned by a colleague as someone with insights into using tech tools for onboarding.

Does anyone here know of good practices or resources that helped you get started smoothly?

Sign up for the IFS Academy, and you can also watch videos on YouTube related to IFS.

Going through the documentation and spending time exploring the environment yourself is honestly the best way to learn.

Also, after migrating to IFS Cloud, try not to compare it directly with other ERPs. Each one has its own strengths.

Make sure you have access to the IFS Knowledge Base in the Service Now system.  If you don’t have this access let IFS Support know and arrange for it.  If you do already have this access look at the following articles:
