Question

Is it possible to use two Tasks in the same PM Action?

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Today when we create a PM Action we use the “PRIMARY TASK”.
Can someone share a way to use multiple tasks in the same PM Action, is there a “SECONDARY TASK”?

Is there any supportive document about this?

Can someone share an example and good practice how to use multiple tasks?

HI Hugo,

A PM Action with Work List lines generated into a Work Order of its own with Work Tasks.

Here you can observe I have created 02 work lists for the PM Action.

Once generate the work order, It contains 02 work tasks, as we have listed in PM Action.
In this way, you can create multiple work tasks for the generated work order.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Roshan

@Roshan Madusanka we should use the PRIMARY TASK for both tasks inside the PM Action?

Hi @Hugo Chiarelo

Use this tab to enter one or several work lists for a PM action. In the PM Action when we create two or more work lists, then once we generate the work order, defined work list items will become work tasks.

In another words, if you have separate tasks to perform under a PM Action then I suggest it’s better to have each work list line for each task, they will become work tasks in the generated work order.
Through the work tasks generated you can separately track the status, progress and other related details.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Roshan
