When creating a Lead from the Lead screen, the default language is blank and needs to be selected from a list.
The expectation was to have this value defined from the default language settings on the User and Person records but this does not happen.
Is there a way to default the language to be ‘English’ ?

@AntonioInfoConsulting This is possible on IFS Cloud 24R2 and newer with the new Conditional Default Values capability.
On 24R2, you’d go to the Lead page, open Page Designer and apply a Default Value to the Default Language field so that it looks like the screenshot below. Once you save and publish, when you create a new record, Default Language will be set to English. You can of course make it conditional so that you only apply it to those users for whom it should be English - in the example below I made it universal by setting Case to true.
