The reason could be due to the Authorization Routing Template you have defined for the company. If you have setup the Steps according to something other than “Individual” or “Group” then those fields will be blank.
To demonstrate this, I have setup a Step for “Position” type here. As I want the users with a particular position to have the authorization capability in the POs.
Note that the Authorizer and Authorization Group are empty.
Authorization Rule is Released.
Now, when I fetch the Authorization to the PO I only get the Position value, neither Authorizer nor the Group will be shown, as no data has been setup for those.
Hence, these fields are blank in the Purchase Order Authorization window as well.
Now, only the users who are in that Position “B1” can Authorize the PO. Hope this clarifies your query.
