Hi @OWAIS.SARDAR

Would this help?

Have you tried using “Receive Inventory Part” functionality?

You can open this page, search for your part, enter a line in the table, and add the quantity and the location (serial / lot/batch numbers etc).

Best Regards,

Thilini

@OWAIS.SARDAR  I would say it depends on how much traceability you wanna have on that Inventory Part.

You have a few options:

→ create the govt as Supplier → and receive the part with PO with 0 price → advantage: you use the standard receipt functionality that your users know

→ use Receive Inventory Part  (as @Thilini Kumarasinghe mentioned )or Count per Inventory Part → might be something your users are not as familiar with. Also, customers that I worked with in the past didn’t even wanted to include Receive Inventory Part in any of the permission sets so that users don’t just fix qty issues by putting more stock into the system.

Of course, if you wanna track depreciation for this asset, you’d also wanna create it as a Fixed Asset Object.

@OWAIS.SARDAR if u don't want to grant users access to Receive Inventory Part (which is understandable) then go for  a PO with 0 price. This should work.
