Hi Everyone,

We are getting server errors for new quick reports while trying to view them.

The environment is on 24.1.1 and we try to test a small sql statement as below and getting the following error.

But after closing the error popup, I can see the result as expected.

Below is the full error:

I have done some checks such as the projection and permissions which belongs to this quick report and those seems to be in place.

IFSAPP user is granted with the relevant FND_QUICK_REPORTS permission set and the Projection “QuickReport701423” is also granted.

There are some previously created quick report which are working fine and the permission set and projections looks the same.

Please let me know if anyone has been able to get rid of this issue. Thanks in Advance!

Best Regards,
Rayan

Hi @golo.naito,

Thank you for your response!

We had to escalate this issue to the community forum because all the basic troubleshooting steps mentioned earlier did not resolve the problem in this particular case. In addition, we conducted extensive investigations beyond the standard procedures.

Through our investigations, we identified that the issue was caused by a bug. This was resolved after we applied the Oracle Patch 19.24 (latest version at the time) to update from version 19.23.0.0.240416 (Patch ID: 36233263).

Subsequently, we learned from IFS Support that several other customers were also affected by the same Oracle bug.

Thank you for your support and Please let us know if you require any further details.

Thank you and Best Regards,
Rayan

Hi @rayanhimal,

I had the same issue.

Clearing the projection cache solved this issue for us. Thanks to our service partner INNEX.

Golo

To clear Projection cache (replace the current URL starting from /main with the URL below, hit Enter and will be directed to a blank page):

/main/ifsapplications/projection/ClearCache?METHOD=CLEAR_PROJECTION_CACHE&VALUE=<ProjectionName>

To clear all Projection caches replace <ProjectionName> with *, else replace <ProjectionName> with the corresponding Projection Name

To clear metadata cache (replace the current URL starting from /main with the URL below, hit Enter and will be directed to the same page):

/main/ifsapplications/web/server/clearmetadatacach
