Is there are any standard reports available that can provide the Total Inventory Value per part, excluding stock related to projects, as of December 30, 2023 ?
Currently, the ‘inventory value per period’ report details the value for each part. However, we need to omit parts that are associated with a project.
Could this be done?
Not that I’m aware of. This as far as I know is one of the reports that has to be run on the day that you want to get the value. It can’t be looked at retrospectively because there isn’t a snapshot of the inventory levels and cost at a time that the report can look back to retrieve.
As for separating the project related items out of inventory, that shouldn’t be too difficult to achieve with utilizing the storage location information to assist in segregating. It still is going to have to be run on the day you want to capture inventory value.
