Hi Community 

We are using IFS APP 10.  

For instance, we are receiving 300 m2 of steel plates as per PO. Based on our companies procedure we need to enter the heat number/plate number of each plate in to IFS during the GR. Upon delivery, we knew that 300m2 of steel plate is equal to 10 EA. Therefore, we have to enter the unique heat numbers on each steel plate to IFS. With our current setup in IFS we do not see an option to split the delivered quantity into 10 GR line items and adding the heat numbers on each steel plate to IFS.

I wonder, if any solution to add all the 10 heat numbers against each plate in IFS.

Hi @ElshanN ,

When try to receive the PO lines from register arrival you can see the option Split, you can use this option to spilt the lines. May I know where you are mentioning the Plate Number during the receipt??

If needed you can use lot/batch no or W/D/R field to capture this information where this will be very much helpful for tracking purpose and to have a better traceability. To use lot/batch no you should enable lot tracking for the part.

Could you please advise how it will be reflected in Inventory In Stock Report ?

Hi @ElshanN ,

In the inventory stock , there will be a separate line created per heat number/ plate number.
