How do I create a Service Order with co-requisite activities?

Best answer by Sachin Maheeshana

Hi Dinuk,

Inside your Service Order, zoom into an Activity. Go to the Dependencies tab and press Select. Find Order ID, which has the Activity that you want to Co-Requisite. Then select the Related Activity ID and finally select Co-Requisite as the Relation.

The co-requisite is a labor activity that must take place with another activity or tasks that must be carried out at the same time. For example if it takes two agents to hang a security alarm box to a wall, then the 2 labor activities (1 for each agent) must be co-requisite.

Further you can also schedule them from the DSE as well. For example, the replacement of a heavy component may require 2 people to lift it into place. It is no good scheduling the two resources to be onsite at two different times! The tasks may be of different durations, but are scheduled by the DSE to have the same start time.
