Is it possible that the system skip a customer order number (order-no)

Hi all ,

 

One of my customer have the issue where is customer order_no skip from 190 to 193.

how is that possible? did some fucntionality reserved the number?

Hi,

 

normally CO numbers are not skipped if there is no manual user interaction.

 

I can think of 3 scenarios what could have happened:

(1) sombody manually changed the value to 193 in the Coordinator Group window, although the counter was currently on 190

(2) Somebody manually defined the Order no 193 in the CO header and not let the systen fetch the next CO No when saving the CO header:

(3) The CO’s 191 and 192 could have been cleaned up by the job:
