Hi,

 

Please can can anybody provide me with the actual calculations IFS uses behind the Project Spread Profile > S-curve Definition? See below screenshot.

Stephen,

The s-curve uses the Gradient field to determine the steepness of the S-Curve, and in the Mid-Point field, the point at which half of the cost should have been distributed.

So in your example 50% of the costs are used at the 6th interval.

Please could you provide the actual formula that is used in the S-curve?

 

There are several potential ways of calculating an S-curve and our client would like to know what we have in IFS so they can compare it against their current formula.
