​@ronhu Safety stock is maintained at the Inventory Part level & Planning Methods.

Can you explain the scenario you are dealing with? It would be helpful to determine the solution.

We would like to have a project part that will behave the same as the standard inventory. let’s say project safety stock is 100, if it is 90 today, after PMRP run tonight, there will be qty 10 replenishment to the project inventory. The safety stock maintained at the inventory part level is just for standard inventory only.

​@ronhu Thanks for the explanation. That is a tricky but an interesting requirement because PMRP is not considering the safety stock per PNG level. Is this part used for non-project purposes too? I mean out side the project inventory?
