I know you can request an emergency license (last 3 days) from IFS using the link provided.

This generates a license key.

How do I apply this?  Normally, we receive an xml and click apply then select the xml to license the software.

Thanking you in advance for your help.

Hi

What version of IFS are you running?

In IFSv7.5 There should be an IFS License Management utility under configuration (admin.exe). Been a while since I had applied a license key. From what I recall you provide IFS with the installation key, then they provide the License key. Care should be taken when entering these. I assume it works in a similar manner with the emergency key?

In IFSv9 it is under Solution Manager - License Management.

And then there is also the Application Server Certificate (is this a license?? sort of), of which does have its own file (.pfx). This is applied by running F1Mage.exe on the Application server, but this is not assisted by the emergency license service, so not what I expect you are looking for.

Regards

Mike
