Hi peoples

Our IT security team don’t want to set up a trusted location for Business Report Writer reports. Apart from using Business Report Execution Server is there another work around without having to create trusted locations?

Thanks

GT

Hi,

In Google Chrome, you can change settings to ask user to which folder files must be downloaded. When enabling this, user must select a folder for every download, also not related to IFS, and can select a trusted folder for IFS Business Reports.

Kind regards, Paul

Hi,

I am just curious: is this solved? Does anybody has any idea?

Our accountings are now creating Excel reports using Business Reporter. They save/export these reports in our Sharepoint sites (or locally).

But when they open the reports outside IFS, they got the error: “This document contains custom code that cannot be loaded because the location is not in your trusted locations list: xxxx.xlsx. If you trust this document you can save and open it from a location on your computer.”

There is no path setup as in Document Management. IT usually sets up their default download folder to C:\Users\<username>\downloads. If they open reports from this default location, there is no problem. Any other location has resulted the above error. The default download location in Chrome doesn’t seem to work with Sharepoint link.

How can we rid of the  error? Thanks for any suggestions!

Wen
