Hi All,

I  hope this message finds you well. We are currently planning our IFS Remote deployment and urgently need clarity on the product roadmap regarding database support, particularly for PostgreSQL / Microsoft SQL Server.

Could you please confirm if there are any official plans or timelines for supporting other databases like PostgreSQL / Microsoft SQL Server? Additionally, we would highly appreciate insights on the certification status or future support for these other databases in upcoming IFS Cloud releases.

Importantly, our focus is on understanding support for alternative databases within the IFS product suite. Notably, as of PSO version 6.14, Microsoft SQL Server 2022 is officially supported for on-premise installations. We are particularly interested in aligning with the product roadmap regarding supported databases beyond Oracle, including PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server, to ensure our deployment strategy aligns with both the product direction and Telstra’s broader technology strategy.

Your prompt guidance on this matter will be invaluable to help us proceed efficiently and in alignment with supported technologies.

Thank you very much for your assistance. We look forward to your swift response.

At this time Oracle Database is till the only option available for IFS Cloud deployments.

Please check the Roadmap Document and Statement of Directions found on IFS Community for more information.
