We're currently exploring a solution to use timeclock instead of KABA for IFS Cloud, but we're currently left alone when it comes to setup communication with the Middletier.

There seem to be Keyboard Emulator or Selenium solutions in order to interact with the employee number field of the timeclock portal, but both ways seem very clunky as the user can't just press "In" and swipe the card. The data value from the RFID Tag must be transmitted into the Employee field.

The main idea is that we have something like a Tablet with either an integrated or self-build RFID Reader. User touches e.g "IN/OUT", swipes the card and then he is done.

One solution mentioned sending the data elegantly to the SOAP Web Service of the Middletier, but the IFS Cloud Technical Documentation is as far as I can see very sparse how this can be actually implemented.

If someone already uses a similar NFC/RFID Touchpanel construct, then it would be great if we could get some pointers!
