Hello everyone! Could someone help me with this issue? I developed a report in the new Report Studio tool, but when I try to preview it, I get this message in the Print Manager:
The Print Job can not be printed due to Redis queue failure. Contact System Administrator.

Is it really not possible to develop in Report Studio?

Hi,

Where did you try to run this report? If it’s in a build place environment, IFS have not provisioned them with the infrastructure to render report studio reports, which is a gap for development/testing. So in this instance you will need to export and try running the report in a use place, but if you have made any changes to the report model or RDF then you will need a delivery of the changes to be able to validate those in a use place.

If this is in a use place, then based on the hosting model is, if the environment is hosted by IFS, I would log a ticket and have them investigate, as could be a POD/container issue, if remote hosted, start by looking at the reporting pods/containers and validate if they are running correctly.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Marc

Does anyone have any idea on when this might be added to the build place? This has been very frustrating to deal with because most of our reports have already been redeveloped for report studio, but now if we need to tweak them in the build place we cannot test effectively. Even a standalone previewer like report designer had would be better because then we could at least download the xml and test on there.

Thanks,

Dan
