In our IFS Cloud implementation (construction/façade projects), we face two options for the delivery side:

  • Use Project Deliverables as a middle layer between WBS and Product Structure, to trace products and manage flow.

  • Skip Deliverables, link Product Structure directly to WBS. Reasoning: Deliverables are under-developed, add clicks/complexity, and not widely proven.

Has anyone here successfully used Deliverables in delivery as this middle layer? Did it bring real benefits (traceability, reporting, control), or was the direct WBS ↔ Product Structure setup more effective in practice?

Each project has 1000-2000 deliverables.
