How to group fields in IFS Report designer

Hi there,  i am trying to group fields in my report designer and i don’t see any grouping options or menu, can anybody help me out?

@Don  Whether you can achieve your desired grouping using just the Report Designer really depends on what you’re trying to do with which report.

Grouping is generally dictated by the structure you see in the upper left-hand pane of the tool.  Enclosing tables with items in lower folders will group them by the upper folder.

Looking at the MODULE_REP,  for example, the DATABASE_OBJECT table is enclosed by the MODULE table, thereby group by the module in the report output.  The module name appears once at the top of the report followed by the list of database objects.

 

This is a good report to use for an example because the designer elected to repeat the Logical Unit Name on the Database Object record.

If I chose to enclose the DATABASE_OBJECT table inside the LOGICAL_UNIT table, the LU Name would not repeat.
