Hi Team,

In FSM -- We have allocated --- Dispatched (Committed) it immediately transfer to FT’s Mobile.

In IFS-Cloud - 1st step is We need to release the tasks then it goes to PSO -- Then it get allocate -- Then Based on Commit rule activies get committed but after commiting also it doesnt transfer to FT’s mobile -- there is 3rd step where transfer to mobile is added.

May i know why the 3rd step is added in IFS cloud in FSM its just 2 steps.

Can some one explain the use case of IFS cloud why 3 steps for sending to mobile.

Regards,

I cannot explain the rationale behind this process (maybe flexibility, because you don’t always want to send all committed tasks?), however to streamline the process:

  • Step 1 can be avoided by either automatically releasing the Request (and with it the task) upon creation, there is a toggle for that. Or change the Scheduling Dataset so that even “New” tasks are sent.
  • Step 3 can be automated using a DB task (Transfer Work Assignments to Mobile) or a BPA workflow.

As a fellow IFS Cloud user I’m interested in this. Are you using PSO in conjunction with Cloud or doing everything via IFS Cloud only? We use PSO and Cloud together, and our tasks are allocated, committed, transferred and accepted automatically (with the only proviso being the commit rule needs to be satisfied)
