In IFS cloud there is a functionality called “Consider lead time for safety stock” functionality.
IF while running MRP we toggle on the option “Plan safety stock receipt considering MRP run date” the pur requisition lines for replenishment of safety stock should consider lead time for determining the wanted delivery date
I did the same setup for two parts, for part A the pur req coming through MRP for safety stock replenishment are considering the lead time but for part B the pur req coming through MRP for safety stock is giving same wanted delivery date as that of the mrp run date.
I have already checked and verified that for both parts the following conditions are same
- Toggle on “Consider lead time for safety stock” in Inventory part under the subheading of “Manufacturing”
- Toggle on “Plan safety stock receipt considering MRP run date” while running mrp
So can anyone indicate what can be a potential difference in setup because of which the dates are different despite same planning data.
