I’m new to IFS, and I have the need for soemthing which seems tricky to some experts, maybe you’ll have good ideas here !
Business case : I’m buying from supplier an article A ; it is made of A1 and A2, each can also be bought independantly (at higher total price than buying A). A, A1 and A2 each have their material code, price, supplier properly set, etc…
1/ I bought A and at the moment/straight after order receipt, I want to disassemble it into A1 and A2, as they may not be stored at the same place in the warehouse. I want total stock value to be unchanged (no fake stock value creation wgen disassembling).
2/ I’m using Project feature ; in the list of materials of the project, A is showing, not A1 nor A2. Is it possible to reserve A1 and A2 for the project (as it is what I have in stock) or not ? Do I have to reassemble A1 and A2 into A, and then I can reserve A for the project ? Even if physically I have A1 and A2 stored in different places ?
3/ Let’s say I bought separately A1 and A2, I have some in stock. A project is created, with A in the materials list. Is IFS able to let me know that I can fuflill the need for A by assembling available stock of A1+A2 ?
