So excited to see the feature introduced to “Cancel Posted Customer Invoice” in 24R2. We use Avalara however and get this message when trying it - Avalara Sales Tax based Posted Auth invoices cannot be cancelled.
Is there any workaround? Will this ability to cancel with Avalara be introduced later? Is there just a setting we need to change?

Cancel Posted Customer Invoice” in 24R2
First in Company > Invoice you have to toggle on the option “Allow Cancel Customer Invoice”
Then on Customer Invoices that are Posted Auth, there will be a button “Cancel Invoice”

we've been waiting for this for a while great news !!!
So have we...it just doesn’t seem to work with external tax systems. Hopefully someone in the community can shed some light on a workaround.
