Time Clock functionality

I would be very grateful if someone could advise on the following:

When we select In and then carry out the swipe, the employee id/name is not being displayed in the Welcome message and no records are being updated to Time Card.

 

Is there a way to debug Time Clock?

Hi John,

I don’t know if there is a way to debug Time Clock.

What I do know is that a few settings need to be done in order to make the Time Clock works with card swiping.

You will find a document attached where I described the settings.

@LenaicDAVID Thank you so much for your reply. 

It turns out our issue was to do with the fact due to leading zero’s we added a prefix of 1 to the card number so instead of 00236 the card number was 100236.  We therefore entered 100236 in the Card No on the Employee File record.  

The parameter was set to Total Card Data Length of 6 and Start Character of 1.

Once we changed the Card No on the Employee File record 00236 and changed the Total Card Data Length to 5 everything worked.
