■Issue

An error occurs when attempting to delete a customer order using the following steps.

① Create a customer order in IFS Cloud.

② Call Cancel_Customer_Order_Handling_SVC.Do_Process_Cancel_Order from the Excel Add-in to delete the customer order created in ①.

③ The following error is returned in the result field of the Excel Add-in.

ORA-20181: CancelCustomerOrderHandling.ACCESS_FAILURE: The arguments used to execute the current operation are not permitted.

■Execution Conditions

The error also occurs for a customer order in the Planned status immediately after creation.

■Execution Method

I have confirmed that the customer order can be deleted successfully from the IFS Cloud UI.

The error occurs only when the method is called from the Excel Add-in.

■Question

What conditions or parameters are required when calling Cancel_Customer_Order_Handling_SVC.Do_Process_Cancel_Order from the Excel Add-in to delete a customer order?

I would appreciate any advice regarding the cause of this error and possible solutions.

Hello,

Customer orders cannot be deleted using regular API.
It can be cancelled through migration using : CANCEL_CUSTOMER_ORDER_API.Cancel_Order

and the cancelled orders can be deleted using the Cleanup of Customer Orders standard batch.
