Hello! We’ve recently deployed a fresh install of IFS Cloud and I’m trying to login to the application as IFSADMIN for the first time. I was prompted to reset the password and when I log in to the application I receive the below error stack with a myriad of errors. Has anyone been able to overcome this issue? I found a similar post noting that the IFSADMIN account needed to have the column ACTIVE set to TRUE in the FND_USER_TAB in the below post, but it is set to TRUE currently.

Hello @EsiRandyG

Try to clear the profile of IFSADMIN user.

Sometimes this help with such issues.

Thanks,
Hardik

We have the same problem, but how can we delete the profile? Aurena login as IFSADMIN is not possible. Has the problem been solved?

@dmcler
are you able to login to IFSAPP? I hope so!
As the actions mentioned above are to be done using IFSAPP but for IFSADMIN user.

Thanks,
Hardik

Unfortunately, I can only click the dialog option Back or Reload. The menu is inaccessible in this case

However, it is possible to log in to the database as IFSAPP.

But In Aurena the ISAPP  can not login ( with the same password as for sql database )

@dmcler

With IFS Cloud, the authentication process for logging into the Aurena client is handled via IAM (Identity and Access Management), and there is no direct database authentication involved. Therefore, using the database password will not work for login.

In the ifscloud-values.yaml file you do not have ifsapp user password mentioned?

@EsiRandyG Did you manage to solve this issue?
We’re having the same problem, if you have a solution. Please share.

BR,
Asanka.

Since I didn't find an example of the IFSAPP user in the documentation, I took a guess and extended the ifscloud_values.yaml as follows:

After a reconfiguration, the passed password does not work for user IFSAPP.

“example” is only for demonstation here

Hi @asanka1055, we encountered this error due to a mismatch in the version of the Customer Baseline installation files and their Solution installation files. The Baseline had be sent over to us by IFS for 23r2 and their Solution was for 24r1, causing a myriad of issues like the one I had originally reported.

Once the correct Baseline had been downloaded from the build place, installation went very smoothly and I was able to access the application using the IFSADMIN account and setting the password for the IFSAPP account to start catering the solution.

There may be an important deployment missing, as some always have the status not aviable:

Problem solved!

The solution was to install a delivery after the Build_Home install.

Strangely, the Mainenix pod is no longer there since then, but others are.

As learned in the academy training, we downloaded a first Build_Home and added the artifacts. In R22 this was fine for the install, so Aurena was able to start without any problems.

I'm not sure, it seems that until R24 the install needs additional  to install a delivery for the first install.

@dmcler

refer below document:-
https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/070_remote_deploy/010_installing_fresh_system/200_installing_ifs_cloud/035_ifs_cloud_ifsinstaller/030_installation_parameters/example/

ifscloud-values.yaml file should have ifsapp entry like below and not under passwords:-

# Db installer
dbInstaller:
  ifsappPassword: example

So now to apply this you need to delete the mintstaller and then recreate with the ifscloud-values.yaml file with ifsapp entry as stated above.

Thanks,
Hardik

The same error as described in the topic can also occur for a different reason.

For example, if the fresh install was performed with a database in archive mode, this leads to countless invalid objects.
