+21My first thought is using Fnd Migration. Have a shared folder available and load the 3-party file to that folder. Use a migration job to push the data from there to the wanted target file(s).
I think there are also some IFS Connect options. You might investigate that path as well.
eqbstal is correct - there are indeed options through the IFS Connect functionality for importing (also exporting) of external files. Note the screenshot below….
The above screenshot was taken from an IFS Support internal Apps 10 environment maintained for another Apps 10 customer. Two of the Connector Reader selections were created as custom connectors for this customer. But the rest are available by default. The online help and technical documentation (available by pressing the F1 key from the above screen) explain how to configure and use these various Connector Reader options.
