Hi,
I am trying to Run MS - One part into IFS Applications 10 but the following message appears:
“Start date of MS receipt cannor be earlier than the first working day of the calendar for site XXX, Part No YYYY Set 1”
As far as I understand, the MS receipt was generated automatically during the IFS desktop installation, and it was not manually created.
Could you please advise what might be causing this issue and how it can be resolved?

Is the part Manufactured or Purchased? If it’s manufactured, check what date your manufacturing calendar for the site starts at - if it’s recent, try backdating the calendar to start further in the past and regenerate the calendar. If Purchased, same thing but check the distribution calendar.
It sounds like you have a demand that’s causing MS to try and generate a supply (MS Receipt) that has a start date in the past. E.g. you’ve got forecast or an order due this week, but the part’s lead time is 4 weeks. I would check what you have set your PTF to compared to the part’s lead time to make sure MS is not generating supplies that you can’t physically make in time.
