We're running into a weird issue in IFS Apps 10 where the Acknowledge button in the Supplier Payment Proposal isn't showing up for our older users but works fine for newly created ones—even when they're looking at the exact same proposal with identical setups.

Here’s what we’ve already checked and ruled out:

  • Permissions: Both old and new users have the exact same Permission Sets.

  • Access: Company and Site access match completely.

  • Cache: Fully ruled out (tried logouts and refreshed cache).

  • New user test: Created a fresh user from scratch with the same roles, and the button appears normally on the same proposal.

  • Exclusions: Double-checked that no extra permission set is blocking the old accounts.

Since everything works for new users under the same security setup, this seems to be something tied directly to the user account itself rather than Permission Sets or Company access.

This is another possibility, especially if the button itself is not displayed, rather than displayed but disabled.

Check whether the old users have:

  • Saved page personalization
  • Customized layout
  • Hidden command/action
  • Old page configuration

Try to create new user of old user and disconnect the old user from person file. Then the new user with already available person fand check the outcome.

Hi tashah, so i continued testing and created two users, one was a duplicate from a previous existing user, and the other one was created from zero, both with the same permission sets and companies. The duplicated user did not have the button visible, but the user from zero had it. I tried doing what you suggested and exchanged the person information, but nothing changed. Do you have any idea why this might be?
