Why can't we find all IFS users in the "dba_users" view?

Hello,
In IFS Cloud, I can't find all the users in the "dba_users" view.
We only find the "system" users.

Does this mean that the new users in IFS Cloud are no longer ORACLE users?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

In IFS Cloud there is not relation between standard enduser and oracle users. Authentication is not based on Oracle credentials.

Hi @knepiosko ,

Thank you for your answer.
Do IAM users have a profile (like ORACLE profiles?).
Because several of our users could no longer log in, we had to reset their passwords.
In no IFS screen, we find the notion of password expiration for IAM users.
Thanks in advance.

Please check Password Policies

  • Solution Manager > Users and Permissions > Identity and Access Manager > Password Policies

Hi @knepiosko,

I just looked and all parameters are at 0:

For information, I noticed that SCIM accounts are disabled when a user gets the password wrong three times.
Is there a screen to set these rules?

I do not know where “max failed attemps” option can be set. This is only what I know regarding password restriction.
