I have a lobby element that will filter out Shop Order Operations by selecting rows where the Need Date is between the two parameters WeekStart and WeekEnd. I used to be able to click into the element and get brought to Shop Order Operations with the datasource conditions, but since adding everything past “List” it errors out. I’ve tried a variety of solutions and nothing seems to be working, what am I missing?  

IFS Cloud record windows have an Attachment section which offers generic services defined in Object Connections.Is there any documentation on these functionalities?Is there any Academy courses on Attachments section?Of course I can look for Help on each of the topics, but was just curious of there is some kind of comprehensive overview 

Hi Community,  I am currently working on an IFS Cloud Installation and would like to customize the default IFSAPP username during the setup process. Hi.I wanted to check with the community if you know whether is possible to have scheduled Quick Reports to generate a .xlsx and have it copied to a SFTP location. So far, we have the Quick Reports scheduled what would we need to do from this point? Should we configure to generate the .xlsx and archive it? Do we need to configure the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event to generate an Application Message? Will this Application Message have the .xlsx file so we can configure a SFTP Routing Address? Or maybe a different approach is required. Thank you much for the help.Best regards.Gonzalo. 

Hi, I’m exporting lobby pages from one environment to import into another (Cloud 23.1.3).  Several of the lobby pages have link list elements that use datasources on the links.  When exporting the lobby page, some of the datasources make it into the export file but not all (typically more are left out than included).  I have not found anything to let me know why it’s not including all datasources in the export file.  The result is that the lobby page is incomplete when imported into the other environment.  Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks!

Hello,I created a small table in Dev and I have used postman and created a POST request and pushed some sample data into the table. Looking at the documentation(little confused by it), I can see that through IFS Connect there is Inbound for Routing Rules.In a real business scenario, do you know what steps are needed to allow us to receive data from a supplier via REST? ThanksRoss

HiWe are facing an issue on 24R1 on user connection.We configured a Azure AD authentication with SCIM module. User creation settings are as follows, as recommended in technical documentation.  However, at first connection, when user clicks on Log in with SSO Azure CFG, he is asked to modify his password. After that, user can connect both way : with SCIM by clicking on “Log in with...” and by filling Username/password. Does anyone has any ideas on what is wrong on our configuration ?Many thanks

I’ve deployed about 80 system changes this year (both configuration and development), and I’d like to move faster. I want to implement automated testing with the eventual goal of implementing continuous deployment. I need an automated means of signing off on system changes, for both IFS-supplied deliveries and our in-house developed code. A true end-to-end test would require us to drive simulations from the Enterprise Explorer GUI, then validate the system outputs. Has anyone done this? (We’re on Apps 9 UPD 13.)  

Hello everyone, we have updated IFSSYS password in the reconfigure step, restarted MWS services and are seeing this error “Failed loading jdbc datasource details.” In IFS 10 Middleware Server Admin Console. Surprisingly, the database information under the General tab disappeared. Any idea on how to restore the database connection in the Middleware Server Admin Console? 

we are using 24R1 and lets say Í want to navigate to the IFS Cloud Docs from there, e.g. page PO and this is what I get landed in  I would expect this instead directly because searching for the exact topic is quite cumbersome For several other IFS screens too this is very inconsistant for me. is it the same for others?the screenshots are from IFS ref enviornment.

Dear IFS community, did you came accross trace files summing up large amounts of gigabytes during installations?Of course I’m available of a workaround increasing the storage :) The operational monitoring recognized the fully running trace directory and expanded the file system several times yesterday - in total, the file system was expanded from an initial 21 GB to currently 115 GB (!!). Is there any chance we can disable / limit / define trace creation path on our own for remote customers?Example error message looks like:11:46:19 2024:  CHPHPRD(3):Non critical error ORA-48181 caught while writing to trace metadata file (.trm)11:46:19 2024:  Trace file name: "/oracle/CHPH4/oratrace/diag/rdbms/chph4/CHPH4/trace/CHPH4_ora_66060760.trc"11:46:19 2024:  Error message: IBM AIX RISC System/6000 Error: 28: No space left on device11:46:19 2024:  Error message: 19 11:46:19 2024:  Writing to the above trace file is disabled for now…Interestingly it is not disabled and continues:11:46:41 2024:  C

We are trying to creat customer order lines using workflow but encoutouring the following error :  IFS should provide the LineNo as a result of that call, why the LineNo is asked as a mandatory field? I hava attached a simple workflow but some variable should be adapted for your system if needed (define a local part and customer order and contract)

I received an error message after logging in and navigating to the switchboard section to add the panels (screenshots attached).Has anyone encountered a similar issue or know what might be causing this? How can I assign a data source in a Crystal Reports template to an IFS invoice document, if the invoice is divided into several types (e.g., standard, collective) and uses several system reports (_REP)?For example: I prepared a Crystal Reports template for a standard invoice. I modified the "CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP" report by adding my own data. If I want to generate a PDF for a collective invoice, the system requires adding a Crystal Reports template with a connection to the "CUSTOMER_ORDER_COLL_IVC_REP" report. To generate a PDF document using Crystal Reports templates, it is necessary to prepare copies of print templates with data sources for different system reports. Is there a way to handle one template with a connection to different reports? Maybe there is another solution to this problem?

Hi,I’m testing Crystal Web Services configuration (IFS Cloud 22R1) and http://localhost/IFSCRWebSetup/Ifs_ReportService.asmx OpenReport test does not work. I have HTTP 500 error in one browser, and this message in the other: Crystal log cannot be started either.How to solve this problem?Regards,Marta Kobosz

We have a custom menu that we use that calls a custom procedure that we wrote in house. Today, in IEE, this menu is setup with a PL/SQL Block that calls our custom package. Does anyone have an idea of how we could do this in cloud?We have a background job that runs today along with this menu item. Could I set it up to call the db task instead? We normally just have the users RMB and then click this menu item and it starts the background job without taking them off of this screen.   

Where exactly should I put define.tem in a customer-solution git repo? If I understand the file's comment correctly, it looks like it belongs at \fndbas\template\fndbas\define.tem, but I know this file is ancient and goes way back to Harvest and probably before. Is this still correct? For example, these are the changes I'd like to make permanent:DEFINE ENABLE_ROWKEY      = NDEFINE ENABLE_ROWKEY_HOURS      = 0DEFINE CONVERT_LOB          = NDEFINE JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES         = 30 

In IFS Cloud, in main_config.json, we have a setting Ifs.OpenJDKVersion. It’s set to 11.0.2 currently in the template file for 24.2.0, and every IFS Cloud version I have has specified that particular OpenJDK version going back to 21.2.4. The documentation says, "Must keep the Default value."OpenJDK 11.0.2 was released in January 2019. This old version has a very long list of vulnerabilities.The latest version in the 11 branch is now 11.0.25. What's the latest value of OpenJDKVersion I can set with IFS Cloud 24.2.0? If it’s not 11.0.25, can you  share with me your impact assessments for the published vulnerabilities in the version you do recommend?

Is the a way to create a custom filter for a page or the entity used by the page ?For example Engineering is not Company or Site specific.  You can see all engineering parts related to all companies and sites.  We have a need to build a filter in based on the company the user belongs to.  Possible using something like the Standard Name Id to build the relationship.   The challenge is how to create a custom filter on the entity or page.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is it feasible in Cloud to restrict the available choices from a dropdown?  For example, per below we only want “Shipment and Customer Order” to be the available choice.  We found it invaluable in Apps9 to prevent incorrect selection/setup.   (Actioned here in Apps9) 

Hello everyone,I have a nested cutom entity under ProductStructureComponent :  I want that when I delete a Product Structure Component line, the nested entity lines linked are also removed. Do you know a way to do that ? I tried using a workflow but wouldn’t manage to trigger the workflow on ProductStructureComponentArray line removal. If using a workflow is the only way to delete associated records, can you let me know what projection or event can I use to trigger it please ? Thank you

Hi,We are currently running IFS apps 10 Update 23 and are looking at moving more of our custom integrations to REST API’s. When you create a new custom field in IFS a cfp / cfv / cft is automatically created in the oracle database. I have an integration method that updates a custom field on distribution order. If I try to use the standard modify call (distribution_order_api.modify__) this will not work if the DO is closed. If I use the cfp.modify__ this will work OK in oracle.The issue I have is that I cannot see a way of calling cfp through a REST API.Is there a way I can do this? Or if not is there a way I can update a field on a DO if the DO is closed using REST without somehow re-opening the DO?Many Thanks,Dan

Hi all,I’m trying to GET the content of a Quick Report using the REST APIs. I can see the endpoints in API Explorer; but when I make the request in Postman, although the status code is 200, the payload is an empty array (see image).I’ve tried this with a couple of different endpoints:https://.../projection/v1/QuickReports.svc/QuickReport_36969() https://.../projection/v1/QuickReport36969.svc/VirtualOrderSqlReportsBoth give the same result. I’ve also tried with a couple of other Quick Reports - it’s not just that one.The endpoints are showing as ‘Active’ in API Explorer (and presumably I’d get an error if they weren’t anyway). Is there something else I need to do to ‘activate’ the APIs? The Quick Reports themselves are generated from an SQL statement, if that makes a difference (and to confirm - if I view the report directly, there is plenty of data to see!).
