We have installed Crystal web services on IFS Cloud. 21R2 SU8

The test report works fine.

The Application report - parameter comes where we can add parameters but after that it gives error

“There was an error retrieving the report”

Can you please suggest.

Hi,

From what you say, assuming it’s a Quick Report. This mean there is an issue when the report is being rendered.

If this is only for one report, maybe there is an issue in the report.

  1. Views used are not there or the user doesn’t have access to the views.
  2. Design issue in the layout

If this is for all reports,

  1. Database is not configured in tansame.org
  2. Wrong database details
  3. Wrong database login details in the CWS config file
  4. Users are locked
  5. The CWS can’t put a call the the database
  6. Oracle Client Runtime is not installed
  7. Wrong version of Oracle Client Runtime and Crystal .net runtime
  8. Multiple Crystal Runtimes installed
  9. .net machine.config is not updated as in installation guide
  10. Design issue in the layout

If these doesn’t help, suggest you enable logs in the CWS and check the issue.
