Hi,..

 

I have a problem with IFS Developer Studio version 21 on the .utility file only

for .entity is no problem.


when I run generate code, the process stops as drawn

 

and when i run execute Generate code and Deploy, the process not response as drawn

 

do any of you know about this or any idea to fix this problem?

Hi Dedy,

For some instances I have seen it takes some time to generate the code and developer studio is in freeze mode until process finishes.  Since this is a utility file I assume it will take a bit of time to generate code for all the dependencies as well.

As a workaround what I can suggest you is if you can committhe changes and run the autobuilder for test environment and see how it goes.

Thank God I've found a way to solve the problem above

1. the problem is in the .utility.xml file, so I renamed of the file in the build home. 

2. Clear the IFS Development Studio cache on the local computer (in the .xml file right click > Open Containing Folder)

3. and try to generate code and deploy again in Developer Studio

 

but i dont know function of the file .utility.xml, any of you know how to use this file?

Glad it worked. I think utility.xml is  meta data used by the developer studio I’m not sure.
