Hi all,
We are currently considering disabling the "Action Enabled" toggle for certain email-type Event Actions in our IFS Cloud project. Since we have no plans to implement the mobile applications, we would like to disable these relevant event actions to optimize system performance and reduce unnecessary background processing.
However, we are unsure whether disabling these Event Actions will have any side effects on the native Subscription functionality.
Could you please clarify if there is any impact or dependency between them? Specifically, we would like to know:
Does the Subscription functionality itself become unavailable if the email event action is disabled?
Will the existing user subscriptions stop triggering (i.e., will notifications fail to appear in the subscriptions panel)?
Is there any technical dependency between Event Actions (Email type) and the Streams feature?
For your reference, we are planning to turn off the "Action Enabled" toggle from the Event Actions page.
Any insights or official documentation references on this behavior would be greatly appreciated.
