We are currently looking at crossing over to single sign on.

the current windows sign on users the users email account but ifs uses initial and surname.

to convert to single sign on will i need to recreate all the user accounts so that they use the active directory account name  or can i go in on mass and script the change?

You don’t have to recreate the user accounts in IFS.

Once SSO configuration is complete, to point users to their respective domain accounts - you need to enter the Domain User name as Directory ID for the user:

So, in your case the IFS Identity - JDOE,

User Name - JOHN DOE &

Directory ID - john.doe@company.com

Hope this helps.
