Hi,

I notice on support for Windows it states “Already supported versions will remain supported until IFS Applications Core releases reaches R&D support end date, “

Does this mean that 21H1 is currently supported for Apps 9 - if so when would R&D stop supporting Apps 9 for Windows releases.

Many thanks,

Matt

Hi @Matthew,

According to the Supported Platform Guide, 21H1 is currently supported for Apps 9 UPD 18 onwards. 21H1 is the latest version of Windows 10 certified by RND for App 9. As you know, APP9 standard support endedon 27-March-2020. However, we now offer extended support. Extended support for App 9 will end in Q1 2023. Therefore, RnD may certify newer windows versions during the extended support period as well.

Best Regards,

Banu

Hi,

We are only on update 17. We did not know about and update 18? What is the last version Update 17 is supported for.

So 21H2 could eventually be certified, but equally it could not as it is in Extended Support period.

As a business we currently do not have Extended Support.

Hi @Matthew,

App9 Update18 was released on 18th February 2021

Windows 10 version 20H2 is the latest version supported for UPD 17.

Thanks - so I’m guessing that UPD 17 is unlikely to be supported for 21H1 or any subsequent update.

One reason to take out Extended Support / Upgrade I suppose!

Yes, that’s correct.
21H1 is only supported from Apps 9 UPD 18. So you need to take the next update (UPD18). I hope I answered your question.
