Add notes on Read only screen

Hi,

Since App10 upd13, is there a way to add notes on a read only screen ?

ex: staged billing lines. Custom Field remains read only although it is set as updatable.

If still not possible, do you know if that is solved on Cloud version ?

As per my understand, we couldn't edit custom filed value if the window is read only.
in Cloud also it behaves as same.
