Using SUM (search in context) in customer offset screen on few columns

Forum|alt.badge.img+7

Hi,

Hope someone can help me. I am trying to add raw with SUM for few columns on customer offset screen using Search in context (only for Not approved).

The line adds to the bottom of my Transactions table, however all fields are blank and not calculated.

I have two columns as custom field and one Write Off Amount is standard.

Did anyone tried similar thing?

Thank you

Kate

I’ve checked this also in App10 p it is the same. It could be a core bug, you can report that to your Support, but for App10, App9 is no longer supported by R&D.

One more thing - you can export a table to Excel and sum up there.

Hi Kate,

Can you please share a screen shot of the search dialog?

Kind regards, Paul Beekmans

Hi Paul,

many thanks getting back to me:

This is what I have done:

Once added SUM to my columns, I clicked Search.
Am I doing something wrong? Is driving me mad. Thank you
Kate

Hi Paul,

I have tried too as per below:

However not sure if the red arrows may be relevant but I see them under different columns to you? You can see it for Write Off amount but I can’t. Have you done that manually or is not relevant to my SUM function?

Thank you for trying to help me.

Hi,

It seems that it works for Approved offsets

but doesn’t work for Not Approved

Best Regards,

Pawel

Thank you Pawel for your help. This makes sense.

I will pass it onto our users and discuss if is worth reporting as you said is not supported by R&D anymore.

Kind Regards

Kate
